Jody R. Lowe
Jody Lowe is a seasoned communications professional specializing in communications strategy, strategic communications, investor relations, media outreach and media training.
Prior to launching The Lowe Group, Jody spent 16 years with Strong Financial Corporation, investment advisor to the Strong Funds, where she directed media relations and corporate communications. In that role she also oversaw community and government relations for the firm.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Phi Beta Kappa), Jody serves on the corporate board of Waukesha State Bank. In the community, she serves on the Wauwatosa Plan Commission, the United Performing Arts Fund Campaign Cabinet, Tempo Milwaukee Board and the Wauwatosa Public Library Foundation (past president). She is a hockey fan and enjoys running, having competed in two marathons and several half marathons. She lives in Wauwatosa with her husband Christopher and their three children.
Ben Bishop’s financial services communications experience includes past roles in both marketing communications and risk reporting at a multi-strategy global hedge fund.
A member of The Lowe Group team since 2010, Ben works with clients on content development, marketing materials, and media outreach.
Ben earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He and his wife live in West Allis with their cat and German Shepherd dog. Ben is a fiction writer and pianist.
Katherine Murray is an experienced marketing and communications professional, specializing in corporate communications, brand management, digital marketing and international marketing.
Katherine has spent her entire career in the financial services industry. Before joining The Lowe Group, Katherine was the Brand Strategist for investment management firm Artisan Partners. Previously, she was the Global Head of Marketing for a derivatives technology firm. During her career, Katherine has had the opportunity to lead successful corporate rebranding campaigns, build brand awareness in international markets and develop award-winning corporate communications pieces.
A graduate of Marquette University (magne cum laude), Katherine serves as a mentor to Marquette students through the Marquette University Mentorship Program. Katherine is a member of the Financial Communications Society, American Marketing Association and former board member of Women in Listed Derivatives. Katherine is actively involved with her parish, St. Robert of Shorewood, and resides in Milwaukee with her husband and two children.
Stephanie J. Truog
Stephanie Truog joined The Lowe Group in 2008 after spending two years as vice president at Francis Investment Counsel, where she oversaw client employee education services for the retirement plan consulting business. She specializes in communications planning and media outreach.
Before Francis, Stephanie spent more than 15 years with Strong Financial Corporation in a variety of positions including lead spokesperson and director of media relations and corporate communications. Her responsibilities included designing communications campaigns to educate consumers on mutual fund investment strategies, retirement planning and saving for college.
A graduate of Carroll University, Stephanie was named to the Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee list of “Forty Under 40″ in 2007. She holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. She and her husband Jamie live in Pewaukee with their three children.
